Thanks for your feedback Anne, I appreciate that you were disappointed that the lounge space got flooded, as was I. I just want to clarify, it is not a regular occurrence, the freak storm in January where sea water reached that room has NEVER happened in the history of this area and that was also the first time that rain has caused that much water to enter into the space. I am working on repairing the room so that it won't happen again. Also, for potential guests that might read this, the bed is big enough that you can sleep either way round, you could have just moved your pillows if you wanted to hang your feet off! :) And I think the Wifi must have been slower due to the rain as other guests have watched movies. I'm sorry that the weather affected your stay so much, I hope it's better for you in Northland.
