This was a nice and quiet location.
My family and I were the first to stay here and even though there were no reviews it was worth taking the risk. To be completely candid, we started off on the wrong foot. George increased the price after we reached out with a few questions, because he claimed there were changes in price for the time we were staying there. I still agreed to it because 1) we were visiting for a wedding and the reception was down the street, 2) my relatives were also staying close by, and 3) the beach was in walking distance.
The home was excellent! It had modern furnishings, a turn-down service was offered (that we graciously declined), and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Even though George was our host, we actually dealt with his hospitable parents who own the home. They were quite charming and went out of their way to make sure my family and I felt at home. We stayed for a week and in that time became friends. They offered to show us the sites, made dinner for us, and even helped acquire tweezers one late night when my wife had stepped on a sea-urchin.
Even though we didn’t speak the language we had many discussions using our phones to translate for us. George’s parents were delightful and it was truly a pleasure to get to know them. We would definitely stay here again.
Off-topic: One night the WiFi stopped working even though it seemed to connect. I simply rebooted the modem and it worked fine again.
