We do not advertise the Eagles Nest as a bedroom because it has no bathroom or closet. However it is amenable for individuals who can climb steep stairs and older children.
The gourmet kitchen equipped with subzero refrigerator and Wolf stove, convection oven and microwave and soap stone counters are everything a gourmet cook could dream of.

Special Event Planning: Pam Sautter, one of the owners of East of the Moon, is an experienced event planner who has won multiple international awards for her work. She can assist you in planning and successfully executing everything from weddings to corporate events.

About us. Pam Sautter, born in Chestertown, MD, is an avid nature and animal lover and enjoys walking, hiking, boating and kayaking. Pam is also an excellent cook, and creates many culinary wonders from scratch. Pam began her career in the fashion industry in Washington DC, where she became the youngest vice president in the history of Woodword and Lothrop. She produced several television shows and had her own high profile modeling agency in Georgetown. Pam is a highly successful event planner, having won both national and international awards for her work, including best wedding and best corporate event. Pam currently has her own event planning company, Pura Vida Productions. Paul Sautter, born outside of Philadelphia, PA enjoys walking, hiking, running, biking and kayaking. Paul loves art ,with a pension for Miro, Basquiat and Calder ,and creates his own small metal sculptures and mobiles. Paul , like Pam, enjoys traveling and has visited Taiwan, England, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Canada, India, Belize, Costa Rica, Guam and Brazil. Paul had a 30-year career in science and technology and was a Corporate Vice President for Corporate Development for a major government contractor based in northern Virginia, where he was responsible for all research and development. Both Paul and Pam love their pets (Mia, Pi and Betto), dining out, a long walk on a sunny day, a good Pinot Noir, daffodils, parties with friends both old and new, and adventures be they grand or small.
