My home is nestled in the heart of the Calder Valley in Cornholme. Close to Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and Burnley and perfect for cyclists, walkers, art lovers, vegetarians & vegans. You have a double room in the attic. Shared kitchen, bathroom and living space. Log burner for cosy nights in. Lovely south-facing patio area to front where you can sit out and have breakfast when the sun's out. Very peaceful and beautiful part of the world. There are many gorgeous walks straight from my door step!
The house dates back to around 1846 so it's full of character and quirkiness. It's a back to back but on 4 levels including a cellar and wooden floorboards in the upstairs rooms. It's south facing so we get a lot of light in the house. There are lovely views of the dramatic Calder Valley hills. It's quite rugged around these parts and you may meet deer or the three wild horses with dread-locked manes that live on the hill on the opposite side of the valley. You may also see a steam train travelling along the track outside the window if you're lucky!
