Thank you Jene for your valuable comments. Let me address the issues that you mentioned: 1. You noted that the house is under renovation. The house is almost 100 years old and it naturally needs to be renovated to keep with the expectations of our tenants. Unfortunately for you that resulted in your having to park 3 out of 4 days on the street, instead of in the front of the house. Since, however, there was always plenty of parking space on the street, It only resulted in your car being parked 15 to 20 meters farther away from the normal parking spot in front of the house. 2. Highway Between the House and the Ocean. Unfortunately it seems that you projected your desire to spend your vacation in a beach house onto this particular Britannia Beach property. Maybe the name of the village (Britannia Beach) had something to do with that... However, nowhere in my listing I suggest that the house is situated on the beach and I wouldn't knowingly misrepresent the location and it would simply make no sense. If you have a look at the map, then you will see that the highway runs between the village and the ocean. The pictures that are posted show the exact views that you see from the window and from the terrace and they are in no way misrepresenting the real location. 3. No Umbrella on the Terrace. I think you hit the nail on the head with that comment. It can indeed be very hot on the terrace on a sunny day, especially in the middle of the day. That of course doesn't preclude most of the tenants from having breakfast and/or afternoon dinner on the terrace, when the sun is a little lower and not that hot. Your idea of an umbrella wouldn't solve the problem as that terrace is just too large and an umbrella would simply be too small. However, I think an awning will probably do a good job and we will definitely install it for the future guest. Thanks for pointing that out. Constructive criticism like yours bring about improvement for the future.
