Hi! We're Carl and Lara! Welcome to our early 20th century town house. It's a three storey building with three apartments in it. You'll be staying on the first floor, where you'll have a cosy, eclectic designed studio at your disposal.
The building was built in 1924 in a neo-classical meets art-deco style. The wooden floors and high ceilings give the apartment a spacious and authentic look. We've kept this eclectic mix of styles in the interior design with vintage furniture, modern technology and loads of indirect lighting.
The apartment has all modern comfort, like free Wi-Fi, a smart television (yes, you can tune in to your favourite Netflix movies at night), a wireless bluetooth speaker, a fridge, a water boiler for a fresh pot of coffee or tea,...
We're located a tiny bit outside of the city center, but you can head down there by bus (or tram which takes you right to Down Town Antwerp in about 10 minutes.
If you come by car, there's no need to worry about parking space. If you come by train, there's a direct tram connection between Antwerp Central station and our place.
Zugang für Gäste
You can borrow our bikes and park your car in the street (free). If there's no place when you arrive, you can park it in front of our garage - where there's always a free spot.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We'll be happy to welcome you personally most of the time and show you around. You'll be staying in the same building we live in, so we're close enough to answer all questions, but your apartment is on another floor, so you won't be seeing us unless you want to :) Which makes this the perfect hideaway for trips to Belgium.
Weitere wichtige Infos
We can provide you with breakfast (optionally, arranged during stay) and dinner (optionally, arranged during stay). If you're from the UK or US, don't worry if you forgot your plug convertors - we've got you covered.
Please note the whole building is non-smoking.
I'm Carl and I like to travel. I use AirBnB regularly, even for business travels because it's a really cool way to discover a town without spending the night in a boring hotel. I also have an apartment to let myself, so if you're planning to visit Antwerp, Belgium, don't hesitate to look for my appartement on airbnb. Looking forward to get to know you!
