Our 600 sq. ft. private cottage sits on 5 1/2 acres in beautiful wine country. Visit the nearby wineries (closest is 4.3 miles). We're 7-1/2 miles from historic University of Oregon. Walmart, stores and restaurants just 5 miles away. Share our 1500 sq. ft outdoor kitchen and patio oasis. We are gated for security too. Our comfy studio has a king and full bed, air conditioning, as well as all the amenities you would expect to enjoy during your stay. Non-smoking (cottage & property).

Die Unterkunft
Our light and bright studio updated with new flooring and fresh paint in 2021, includes a king bed, double Bed (both with high quality 550 thread count white cotton sheets), charging station by both beds, luggage rack, plenty of space to hang and store your clothes, iron and (full size) ironing board, a full length mirror, and make up mirror in the bathroom.

There’s a 55 inch HDTV with Dish Satellite TV that includes Netflix and the Pac-12 Network. We have a gaming console, Blue Ray/DVD player, high speed Wifi, and air conditioning (ductless heating and air system which is super quiet).

The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator with filtered water and an ice maker. There’s a sink, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven, Keurig coffee-latte-cappuccino maker, toaster, electric single burner hot plate, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and kitchen utensils. All dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and utensils are sanitized by running through the dishwasher prior to each guests arrival. The large window looks out over our seasonal pond where deer often bed down, or an occasional duck or heron may fly in.

The bathroom has a nice shower with a handheld shower head, with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

All linens, towels, and duvet covers (even if they look clean and unused) are cleaned before every new guest too. I love to travel, and have tried to address the cleanliness concerns that I encounter in the places I stay. I make sure my cottage is very clean, from linens and covers to dishes, place mats and paper towels. I can assure my guests that their home away from home will be clean and comfortable.

I take extra care in following enhanced cleaning protocols, such as sanitizing high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls. I use approved cleaners and disinfectants, and provide extra cleaning supplies so you have access to them too. I make sure everything is VERY clean and sanitized. I go the extra mile by having a two night buffer before and after each reservation. That means there is no one staying in the cottage for a minimum of 51 hours, and its usually ends up being longer depending on when people check in/check out, or if there is even a reservation booked close to when you book.

There is also a gas grill on the patio with condiments available in the patio fridge, as well as a wood burning fire pit. The patio area is a shared area, but you are always welcome to use it. Most often you’d have it to yourself, but if you want to make sure, you can reserve it by texting me!

On clear moonless nights we are just far enough out of the city to see the milky way in the night sky. We have plenty of parking for your vehicle, boat or RV, and we are gated for added security.

We have more than enough space for you to stretch your legs and explore. The wooden swing hanging from a big oak tree is fun for kids and adults! Also outside your cottage door is a grassy area that is private for you, which includes seating to enjoy your morning coffee as well as a double hammock (seasonal) to enjoy the lazy days of summer. It's also a great place at night to look at constellations and watch for falling stars. There's also a mowed loop trail that goes along the tree line, and circles in front of our property that can be fun to walk (you may want to wear boots in the winter months and early spring, as parts can get a little soggy).

For your convenience, we offer self check-in, and have keyless entry during your stay. I will send you the security gate code as well as the cottage door code prior to check-in.

We also have a queen air bed available if needed.

We do allow you to bring one hypoallergenic “non-shedding" breed of dog, see "house rules".

There is no smoking, vaping, or the use of marijuana allowed on the premises.

Eugene, Oregon, Vereinigte Staaten

Our road is a bicyclist favorite. We also have a variety of birds and other wildlife on site. If you keep an eye out you may spot a restored vintage car or limousine heading out to the wineries. If your children are looking for a playground, there is an elementary school just 3/4 of a mile away. On Saturdays in the summer, a farmers market is a short mile away too. 2-1/2 miles away is a mini-market which has a liquor store and Amazon hub locker.

I'm married to my high school sweetie (Keith), and we have 3 children, 6 grand children and a spoiled standard poodle. I enjoy traveling, birding, hiking, photography, and especially the Oregon Coast! I also love my coffee, a good restaurant, and of course our Oregon Ducks! As a native Oregonian, I am able to help you with most questions you may have about our eclectic and active town, as well as our beautiful state.

I also love birding, so I can help you with the names of the birds you will see on the property, as well as places in the area to go birding. My husband and I look forward to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
