Autumn in Vermont has been amazing! There is still time to book your Fall stay. Our house is close to mountains, the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail, lakes and streams, restaurants and dining, downtown, art and culture, shopping, and medical facilities. You’ll love our space for its central location and home-like atmosphere. This first floor apartment with a separate entrance is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers and small families.
Our apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed, but also a futon couch in the living room that opens into a double bed; perfect for one or two extra guests. We can provide pack 'n plays for babies.

We are two retired teachers who love to travel. We tend to drive and discover places ourselves (not afraid to get lost). We love music, the arts and hiking.
George taught Biology for 40 years and considers himself handy around the house (lots of tools) and spent 40 summers painting houses.
Cheryl was a stay-at-home mom when the children were small, but then went on to be active in politics (served 8 years in the Vermont House and Senate) and recently retired from teaching English at a nearby high school. She is Italian and loves to cook. We tend to be the helpful sort (what to do in the area), but recognize people like their space. Let us know your needs.
We have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. We own a large 3 unit home and live in the top floor. We rent out 2 units on the first floor. This Airbnb unit is one of them.
