Families and friend groups welcomed.
Lanett is a twin city with West Point, Georgia, which is home to Point University. This is an excellent house for family in town visiting students. This house is unique because we don't live there, so you are better able to make yourself at home. This house belonged to our sweet Aunt Rose, a precious little Japanese lady who married Uncle Charles after WWII. She loved to garden, so the area around the patio is full of Taro, a Japanese root plant kin to the elephant ear, and Shiso, a Japanese herb in the mint family.

We have a small farm in Alabama and Roy's parents recently retired from Kentucky to live with us. We love all things homesteading and love to be at home, but I also love to get out and have adventures and see the world. Roy has been a preacher since his college days and raised two sons who have blessed us with a grandson and a granddaughter. He is a falconer on the side as well as all around build and fix-it man. I raised 3 daughters, and just dropped the last one off to start college. We love to bargain hunt and thrift shop and create things out of what we find. Our own cabin is our finest accomplishment to date!
We want to make our guests feel at home and will do whatever we can to accommodate them. We do not live on the premises, but will be available by phone during your stay.
