The beautiful surrounding views of Highland Perthshire make for a perfect Quiet Rural Escape in this self contained apartment. Floor to ceiling windows, combined with an open plan design flood the apartment with natural light and under floor heating and a wood burning stove keep the space cosy and comfortable all year round. It makes for an ideal weekend retreat as Glasgow and Edinburgh are only 90 minutes away and also serves as a great base from which to explore Highland Perthshire.

Die Unterkunft
The apartment sleeps 2 with a generous king sized bed located on the mezzanine floor. A roof window is fitted above the bed, offering views of the sky at night as well as capturing the morning light.

An open plan living/dining area stretches below. The space is designed to be relaxing and comfortable throughout your stay. A wooden table sits in the corner, offering views to the east and captures the morning light. A bird feeder has also been placed outside this window for all you wildlife enthusiasts, with the local red squirrels often stopping by for a quick nibble. Pheasants too are regular visitors and for the lucky few, deer can sometimes be seen grazing in the garden.

However you choose to spend your day, know that you will be coming home to all modern inventions including a TV/DVD player and WIFI throughout the apartment. A large leather sofa has been conveniently placed in front the wood burning stove and blinds have been fitted on all windows to offer a restful nights sleep.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. A full selection of glasses, crockery and cooking utensils are also available.

The shower room contains a toilet, sink and walk-in shower.

A quiet patio area completes the property for those peaceful summer evenings, with a bench and wooden oak table offering views across and up the surrounding fields.

The property has a private entrance with parking beside.

Zugang für Gäste
The apartment is situated in our garden and is joined to the main house. However, it has it's own entrance and is totally self contained. Guests are welcome to use the large garden space to the east of the apartment but should be aware that we do use a small part of the space for drying clothes outside.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
We are preparing to welcome guests again after the Covid 19 pandemic. We have introduced additional cleaning measures to make the apartment as safe as we can for our guests. We will have a contactless arrivals procedure and hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance to the property.
All hard surfaces will have been cleaned using a disinfectant. All door handles and window handles and window blind chains will have been disinfected too. There will be antibacterial soap available in the bathroom and the kitchen. Towels and bed linen will have all been freshly laundered before your visit. We are leaving the property empty for 54 hours between guests.
There is no washing machine in the apartment but guests who are booking for longer stays are welcome to use the one in the main house. It is situated in our utility room, which is easily accessed from the apartment and we will maintain social distancing, if you wish to use it. Please advise us if you wish to use the washing machine.

Our area is keen to welcome back visitors. Many of the restaurant businesses have set up a "drive through" system, where you can phone an order through and then drive through to collect it. Some of the cafes are offering afternoon tea in a box to carry out.
