Matt was a great host. Very accomodating. The location suited myself and house mate because it was very convenient to get to work and back. Matt himself gave us our privacy and was on call when needed. Getting around, I recommend uber or you can walk 10-12 mins to use public transport.

Great position handy to all amenities. The unit is well fitted out with everything needed on a short stay. Very comfortable bed. Only negatives were that the bedroom ceiling should be lined and insulated as the upstairs inhabitants are heavy footed especially in the early morning! Also a summer stay would be very warm due to limited windows and no Aircon. In saying this the unit is probably value for the nightly rate.

Hi Julie, thank you for staying and your feedback. I'll have a chat to the upstairs tenant but lining the ceiling is definitely planned for the future. I used to live down there myself for 6 months and it's actually very mild all year round due to being on ground level and well-shaded.

Initially we were quite happy, it is a roomy 1 bedroom flat, comfortable bed, separate lounge and sofa, large TV, reasonably equipped kitchen, coffee machine, and the bath was very relaxing, as were the nice gardens and the location is very easy from the airport. But, in typical Queensland style, this is a ground level flat built by enclosing under a high set unit complex. There is no ceiling only the wooden floor separating the dwelling above, this means there is no sound insulation at all, every sound made in the flat above comes down, walking around, watching TV, moving furniture, using the bathroom, everything. This may be acceptable during the day but trying to go to sleep after a long day travelling was very painful, then being woken up at 5 am by the occupants upstairs getting up and going to the bathroom (every day) and doing whatever else before leaving (for work) made this stay very unpleasant. We are not light sleepers, the sound would wake anyone up unless you are so used to sleeping through noise. To us, getting a good night sleep is the most important part of any place we stay and for this reason we found the stay unpleasant and unfortunately cannot recommend this place. There was no onsite parking space.

Although we didn't meet, Matt was very welcoming when we first checked in. The place was neat, tidy and had a very cozy feel. It was close to shops and public transport which is just what we needed, and Matt was very quick with communication, especially when we encountered problems of any kind. It was as exactly as described, and my family was very very happy with the apartment. I'd definitely come by again! Thank you so much for everything :)

This apartment is really well located very close to the rail station and to Nundah which has good cafes/restaurants, a market on Sunday's, a supermarkets etc. It's an ideal apartment for a solo traveller or a couple, as it has a separate bedroom and a nice living area and well equipped kitchen.

We stayed at Matt's apartment for 5 weeks and settled in quickly. Unfortunatley, Matt was not available on our arrival but his cleaner gave us the keys and showed us around. The apartment is exactly as in the photos; very cozy, nice lighting and funky. Matt lives in the same aparment complex and replied to all our questions immediately. The only downside with Matt's apartment, the acoustics are not ideal for light sleepers.
