Close to Cromer and its lovely beach, historic market town of Aylsham, National Trust Blickling and Felbrigg (15 mins). A newly renovated 19th Century Wesleyan Chapel with beautiful views over common land, currently full of orchids and flag irises. Daily we see a barn owl, wood peckers, kestrels, and a range of small birds.
This is a beautiful area for walking and cycling. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). Wifi installed but slow.
We did the renovation ourselves. It's a family annexe and much love went into making it as beautiful a space as possible. As well as the beautiful views, it has wonderful high ceilings and can light up like a lantern during sunset. It is incredibly quiet here, you will hardly hear a car go by and the nights are dark (amazing for star gazing).
The Chapel is completely self contained and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The space is well insulated and keeps very warm, has full central heating.
The space is comfortable for 3 people, but 4 is doable, particularly for shorter stays or if 2 are kids/happy to share a bed, the second bedroom is small. Note that the small room double bed is a bunk with a step up to it. The main bedroom would fit a travel cot. Possibly not big enough for 4 adults unless you plan to be out a lot and are happy to squeeze in.

The annexe is separate from the house, so during your trip it's all yours. Has off road parking for up to 2 cars.

Happy to offer help and advice about the local area, pubs, cycle routes, beaches. I love this part of North Norfolk and am happy to share and hear your tips too, there's always something new to discover.

We have just installed wifi, though it is patchy and can be slow and you may be happy without it here. There is very little mobile reception (a walk up the lane helps), but that's the same in most of Norfolk!
I am passionate about food and am in the process of starting an Organic market garden. I love nature, birds, insects, wild flowers. Weekends in Norfolk are spent (if not working!) walking, going to the beach, meeting friends at lovely local country pubs. Have just moved back from London after 20 years away, am loving remembering how beautiful this part of the world is!
