We are situated in the the quaint village of Bethersden, Darling Buds of May country, which has two lovely traditional country pubs to choose from as well as a butchers/deli. The Apple Shed was used for storing apples when this was a working orchard and converted three years ago. Set in its own 1 1/2 acre meadow, is a perfect secluded and romantic place for couples.
We will have a home made cake (Mary Berry's Lemon Drizzle and Chocolate Fudge Cake are present favourites!) and a warm welcome waiting for you!
The Apple Shed was converted using recycled materials and there are many quaint features to admire. It has a fully equipped kitchen, small baby belling electric cooker (see picture) suitable for cooking a meal for two and fridge. There is also a BBQ outside. (bring charcoal) The romantic bedroom has an en suite shower room with a proper flushing loo.
The Apple Shed is has a very efficient log burner and shed full of logs to keep you cosy as toast in winter.

There is a private decking area to sit outside the Apple Shed and enjoy the meadow, perfect way to spend a summer evening. Parking is up at the house.

We love animals and have horses and breed labs and border terriers. We are always happy to show you round and you are welcome to walk a dog or two through the woods or around the village. Kate and family live in the main house so there is always someone around to welcome you and suggest days out.
