Staying at Eazy's Place is nothing for just one transfer night, staying here for several days means enjoying a kind of unique vacation. Free airport transfer if you stay longer than 3 nights! Your host Eazy Mjema has worked as a tour guide for several years and has become a well known artist. Some of his unique batik artworks are created in his workshop on his plot and you are invited to watch him creating his batik fabrics. You can even take courses on making this unique batik art. Last but not least he is an excellent cook serving traditional local meals for dinner and breakfast

Zugang für Gäste
The house on Eazy's 500 square meters plot has two rooms which are surprisingly cool due to the huge windows that let in the constant fresh breeze from the near ocean. As we have just installed solar panels on the roof, there is electricity for lights everywhere and also for charging phones etc. Rain water is collected in 500 l tanks enough for washing and cleaning. There is also a Banda, a traditional open hut built from palm leaves and local wood. It's both, Eazy's workshop where he designs and draws his batik patterns and a very cosy place for sitting and resting. Here breakfast and dinner are served and people sit and talk enjoying the cool ocean breeze.

Während deines Aufenthaltes
As Eazy studied at the Bagamoyo Art College he knows the area very well and is acquainted to many local artists. He also knows a lot about the history of the town Bagamoyo which in Swahili means “Lay down your heart” alluding to the age of slave trading. There are many historical buildings and sights to discover. Eazy will lead you to the famous Bagamoyo College of Art, the German cemetery, around the well preserved houses and the old church dating back to the colonial area. Eazy could also introduce you to some local artists such as painters and wood carvers. You can either walk or hire a bicycle. After this historical and cultural experience there will be enough time to enjoy the beautiful Bagamoyo Beach.
