Piece of paradise. A secret retreat far away from the civilisation, 15 min from the Capital just on the edge of the Ocean. An old fisherman restored cave that makes you forget all about modern commodities as the lights turn off for the whole village at 00.30 at night and get back on the next day 14.00pm. Don’t worry the fridge keeps cool till the next day & you have all the lamps you need plus a battery to charge your phone, laptop. Kayak, snorkel, hike or rock climb, scuba dive even see dolphins
Be prepared to enter a magical space, one that will make time run slower and change your perceptions and beliefs on life! Small, sunny, intimate place where you feel right at home. And think that you can even have a nap in your own indoor "cave" as the house was built around one.
The view to the Ocean and Tabaiba bay is breathtaking. Keep your eyes on the horizon every time you exit the house as dolphins and pilot whales might come across to say "hi" out of nowhere...
The home is small but has one spacious living room with an open kitchen that offers access to the bathroom and an incredible view to the seaside. The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, washing machine and microwaves, cooking stove and an oven both work on gas.
Be prepared for a unique experience, no wi fi, no tv, no disturbances, as this is your unique chance to detach altogether from the urban realities and go back in time... when you didn't need electricity so much or wi fi. The villages owned electricity source cuts off at 00:30 and will turn back on at 14:00hrs the next day. So lights out! But, just in case you're not ready to give up just yet on the modern commodities I added on an installation that allows 24 hours a day electricity for lighting and small size electrical appliances, even if the village owned power supply is switched off. So your phone will be charged in the morning and ready to go. There is no wifi available but there is network coverage.
Fishing is available right in front of the house. Diving Centre is at walking distance The divers would be thrilled to find out about the Tabaiba wreck dive on the northeast coast of Tenerife was the former tugboat, El Ratón, a fantastic wreck that is still intact which attracted a large amount of life such as Barracuda, Garden Eels and Stingrays. Hiking and walks are vast options more so with the canyons above and around the house, banana plantations, watercourses and coast areas and rocky or sandy beaches.
Any sport or activity you can think of, from yoga, running, cycling, mountain biking, diving, fishing, stand up paddle or kayaking. Surfing. Windsurfing or kite surfing. Climbing. Parachuting. Jet skis. Whale and dolphin, turtle watching. Snorkelling. Night star gazing. You name it.
The nearest village is Tabaiba, 10 minutes walk on the pebble beach and across the Barranco Hondo mountain. In Tabaiba you find all the restaurants, bars, caffees, shops, bus & taxi stops.

You need a car to access the place as it is situated in a downhill descending towards the beach. Parking space is always available but it s local and open air, not private. Located in a protected bay, has access to its own small pebble beach where you have to walk approximately 100-200 m from the parking to the home and get through a couple of stairs too.

You have the house all to yourself. The neighbors seldom come to spend the night in the village as most of them use these houses as secondary ones as they develop their routinary lives in the Capital. So you will enjoy your privacy and quiet time. But please respect your neighbors when you encounter them as they are very warm hearted, welcoming Canarian folks. They mostly leave in the capital and occasionally come to sunbathe or spend the weekends so you will enjoy the most intimacy.
