We recently stayed at Anna's place for three nights during Passover. Anna allowed us to bring our two young boys with us even though the unit is set on the website for 2 people only. Adar, her husband, arranged a TV set for the kids for the "dead hours" which was indeed very helpful. Anna and Adar are warm and friendly and did their best to help us settle in. This is a second floor rental unit above the owner's house in the "Harhava" of Zipory, a new neighborhood adjacent to the old Moshav (village). We were a bit disappointed that there was no direct access to a backyard or garden from the unit as you may expect in a rural residence. However, there is a roof attached to the apartment that we used for BBQ which was a compensation to some degree. The two room apartment is large and airy with wonderful views to a small green valley, the heart of the new neighborhood. In terms of the decor and furnishing we felt that the unit is outdated and lacked attention. Most lighting was bare fluorescent bulbs and the choice of furniture was made sporadically and - to us - tastelessly. In Zipory we found many farm animals which was wonderful for the kids. It is centrally located in the Galilee so almost all attractions are in relatively short distance. One day we traveled to Gan Hashlosha (the Sahne) and one day we traveled north to Tel Dan. Zipory also has a beautiful archeological park adjacent to the village with special attractions for kids.
