A cosy cottage, built circa 1820. Located in the historic town of Llantwit Major, the cottage is ideal for couples/families wishing to enjoy the South Wales coast. Comfortably furnished with some character features, a fully equipped kitchen and a good sized dining space. The sitting room has a log burner and there are two spacious bedrooms on the first floor. A mature garden opens up towards the back to a decking area that catches the evening light, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine.

We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

The Old Stables were restored to a very high standard in 2018 and offer very comfortable and spacious accommodation with two bedrooms, both with en-suite shower room. The living space is open plan with a large sitting area, dining and fitted kitchen. There are two sets of bi-fold doors with lovely views across the valley. Under floor heating makes the cottage very warm and cosy. Wifi is connected and there is ample parking.
