The Stables is a self-contained wing of our 300-year-old Grade II listed farmhouse in the tiny historic village of Binsey. Walk into Oxford in around 30 minutes across beautiful Port Meadow, alongside the Thames, with the renowned 17th-century Perch pub close by. Sleeps six in three bedrooms, with a spacious sitting room, farmhouse kitchen/diner, private garden and free parking.

The Barn is tucked away in a private courtyard set back on a picturesque and quiet lane that leads towards the village high street. Steeped in history and oozing character, it dates back to the 18th century. Vaulted ceilings and old beams frame the bedrooms which are furnished with an ornate bed/sofa bed/Egyptian cotton bed linen in a combination of dusky pinks/greys all in a shabby chic style. Chandeliers, silk bedspread, Farrow & Ball paint and Bamford Botanical sustainably made toiletries.

This one bedroom apartment is annexed within our family home but benefits from its own entrance and facilities. Quiet village location but easy access to transport links (Heathrow is 20 mins drive, London 35 mins on the train). We are on the edge of the Chilterns, an UNESCO recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are taking bookings using the Covid19 guidelines and legislation set out on the UK government website. If the road map changes then availability may also need to change.

Nestled walking distance from Esher High Street the apartment is situated across the courtyard of Clive House, a Georgian dwelling built in the middle of the eighteenth century by Clive of India. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.
