Summer is amazing here, while fall, winter and spring are equally interesting, one can really find him/her self over this endless simple beauty. The village of Kanevos is serene and beautiful all year round! The house is located 30 meters away from the famous taverna Iliomanolis, one of the best taverns in Rethymno.

Great for walkers and animal lovers, this accommodation is part of a former "Kafenion", situated in the heart of a traditional Cretan village in the hills. Nearby is the pretty and bustling town of Spili, with its tavernas, shops, pharmacy, health centre and post office. Prices from €35 (spring and autumn) to €40 including a basic breakfast. Loving dogs and cats is essential, as I have 4 dogs and several cats! However, please do not bring your own cat or dog. Having a car is essential.
