Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Trout fishing is an excellent pastime for those who care to cast a line. Rest, at Nature’s Nest.

Cabin details: Family-friendly space. Stocked kitchen with coffee bar items. Full bathroom with tub, 1 bedroom, open concept dining/living area. Living area equipped with a full/twin bunk bed. Stoddard: Rocky's Supper Club (Wed-Sat), Thursty Turtle Bar and Kwik Trip. Public boat ramp and park just down the road.

La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for two people or a solo adventurer.Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee isn't provided. There is a drip coffee maker, also kpods use.

The River Shack

Available year round. Perfect for a family get away or for hunters and fishermen. Full kitchen, 2 tables set up for eating. Large carport for parking under or sitting under if it is raining, you don't have to be trapped inside. Enclosed porch that looks out over the Great Mississippi River. Every sunset is beautiful!! Seating outside, firepit (bring your own firewood), swingset and sandbox for little ones. Also has your very own bar & TV. FYI. Property is by the rail road tracks.
