Renovated cabin (2021) is located nearby the ocean with lovely oceanview, only few miles from the historical Snæfellsjokull glacier. Good comfort in the house. It is equipped with a big fireplace and outdoor jacuzzi on the 100 sqm terrace Varieties in outdoor walking tours to experience the nature. Such as lava, glacier, mountains, caves, waterfalls and old fishing villages. Historical place with amazing geology as well as rich birdlife. The culture of this region is worth the experience.

A comfortable cottage near a national park

Spacious yet cozy 93 square meters cottage located at the edge of the Snæfellsnesjökull national park. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Me and my wife fell in love with the un-earthly beauty of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and especially the area around the glacier and simply had to own our own getaway at this magical place which was voted the #1 place to visit in the wintertime (travelandleisure), and amongst Europe's 25 most interesting villages (Business Insider)

Charming House on the Ocean Front

My house is private, comfortable and set in stunning surroundings with open views. I have made a big effort to make it as homey as possible and equipped it with most necessities and really comfortable beds. The house is located on the edge of Arnarstapi village, closely surrounded by the ocean, vast lava fields, mountains and the majestic Snæfellsjökull. Every season there has it´s own charm but the beauty and peacefulness is always present, pulling you out for various activities.

The house is 82 m2 with two bedrooms, located at a traditional Icelandic farm. The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. This is a perfect location to discover Snæfellsnes peninsula. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.

Our place is perfect for those that want to explore the Westfjords, with the three top destinations of the area within an hours drive. It is on the ground floor of our house, we live upstairs and are happy to provide information our guests might need for their traveling. The apartment is recently renovated and has great view over the fjord.
