Once arriving at the Orange Bloom Homestead you will immediately feel the serenity of the nature in the foothills of the Arrábida national park. The cottage is set within a walled property consisting of the main house and the cottage in a 5000m2 plot. Within the cottage you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed linen are of 100% cotton and the pillows and duvet of goose down, ensuring your best rest possible. Relax in this calm, stylish space where comfort is a priority.

Amazing Pool Pavilion with Private Heated Pool

The Pool Pavilion is a cosy and relaxed two suites and kitchen space that overlooks a lush garden and is the ideal choice for a joyful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with simple yet sophisticated materials, such as micro cement flooring , stucco walls and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious, private garden with wood decking, a heated pool, sun loungers and table.

Casa da Encosta - Hillside cabin near the sea

Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our 2 tiny houses are in the midst of agricultural landscapes on a horse farm 400 meters from one of the best surf beaches around. The container unit is private only for you. Its entrance is via the the subroom. This sunroom, as well as laundry space, garden and backoffice / storage space is shared with the other unit (2pax) Our local community also offers a small local beach bar, a pizza place and a micro brewery & hamburger restaurant.
