A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. At the Linger Longer Cottage you'll discover a really adorable, fully furnished 2 bedroom + loft (due to some safety issues, the loft is not available for use at this time), with easy beach access to enjoy the Hood Canal and Quilcene Bay all within minutes to enjoy the wonder of the Olympics. Just a walk around the owner's home provides direct beach access to beautiful Quilcene Bay on Hood Canal. A quarter of a mile south of here there is a boat launch. Come enjoy this gem today!
