The Rainforest Guesthouse is a situated in the beautiful sub-tropical rainforest area of the Far North Coast. You are surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 100 metres from our beautiful swimming hole and rainforest. You may spot a koala, platypus or wallaby and you will definitely see many beautiful birds. Sorry no dogs as we have a dog that loves people but not other dogs. 15 minutes to Minyon Falls and the Nightcap National park. 30 minutes to iconic Nimbin. 35 minutes to Byron Bay.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Stylishly outfitted, you’ll find a truly relaxing space to unwind and take in the gorgeous vistas of Northern NSW, surrounded by peace and quiet. Guests are welcome to explore our property-as long as you take a carrot or two to share with Bentley, our resident horse. Our cabin is nicely positioned to allow access to many scenic day trips taking in places such as Maleny, Montville, several National Parks & The Glasshouse Mountains. We have put together some suggested itineraries to help you make the most of your time with us and includes trips to waterfalls, short and long bush walks and restaurants. Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

“Sunrise Cottages” is to be found perched on the escarpment with a 180 degree North Easterly view of the hinterland and coastline. Each luxuriously appointed self-catering cottage has been designed for rest and relaxation. Unwind in a double spa, and be swept away by the magical views. We are an easy 1.2km walk from the quaint tourist village of Montville and a short drive to several places of interest.

Enjoy expansive 180 degree views taking in Glasshouse Mountains, Lake Cootharaba and Noosa North Shore.
