Behind is a bushy escarpment so a perfect base for walking, biking, exploring or to just relax +watch the colours change. We celebrate four seasons & the interior provides comfort no matter the weather! You'll see plenty of Aussie wildlife too. Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Our generous garden flat is positioned within walking distance of Queanbeyan town centre, and a 20 minute drive to Canberra CBD. Directly adjacent to the showground our very private, spacious, uncluttered, clean flat has 2 private courtyards in which to follow sun /shade and cook a BBQ. You should find all that you require, but we are in the front house should you need anything. We delight in offering this fantastic space and look forward to seeing you.

This self-contained flat is in a lovely quiet location in Tuggeranong. It is fully furnished with a kitchen and all the things you need to have a relaxing stay. It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then. We provide linen, towels, and soaps.
