Walk the waterfront or one of many local trails. Recreation: kayak, canoe and SUP rentals, sail boat and gondola tours. Horseshoe Lake public beach and Kopachuck State Park.

Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, a forest hiking trail with sea and Mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Each room has a view of the gardens, which are extensive and fully enclosed - including two small bridges, a pond, and cascading waterfall. From the garden villa you can walk to several eateries, bars, cafes, and activities! During the summer months, the trolley picks up just one block away. The kayaks rental shop is about a 7 minute walk down the hill.

Welcome to our comfortable, peaceful Gig Harbor area suite. While the delightful downtown of Gig Harbor and the beautiful Puget Sound are just a few minutes away, this location is great and convenient for exploring the South Sound area of Washington State. The apartment suite is a dedicated space in the brightly lit daylight basement of our home with its own parking and private entry. The neighborhood is well established with lovely, well cared for homes and beautiful surroundings.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
