Walk to the Castle and browse the shops on the way back. Walking is the best way to see Edinburgh and by being based on George St nothing is too far away. You can park on the street if you need to unload or you can taxi to the door. Buses from the airport drop you ten mins away so you don't even need a car. Buses and taxis are all on your doorstep so access is easy whether you need out or in to the city. Your linen and towels are all provided so please don't bring a thing. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things that you will need.
