Adega Verdelho

Located in a quiet coastal area of the parish of Candelária, this rustic house is set within a vineyard classified as a World Heritage Site. With a basalt stone façade, typical of the island’s wine cellars, it offers an authentic and peaceful stay. Just 12 km from the airport and 15 minutes from the town of Madalena, it boasts stunning views of the ocean, the island of Faial, and the majestic Pico Mountain. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Outrora adega tradicional de vinho, construída por Francisco Paulo em 1980, esta moradia serviu durante muitos anos como local de produção e armazém do vinho da família Paulo. A adega foi remodelada e ampliada, mas mantêm os alçados tradicionais e a decoração e pormenores próprios dos tempos em que foi utilizada como adega. Junto à zona balnear, possui uma vista que convida a longas noites de conversa.
