Cassie's Cottage

Cassie's Cottage, built in the 1800's is newly refurbished and complete with all mod cons. The cottage is located only 5 mins walk from the lovely village of Malin, which has pubs and shops around a triangular green. Malin is on the Wild Atlantic Way and has the longest stone bridge in Ireland. From Malin it is 3 miles to Culdaff Beach and 8 miles to Malin Head, the most Northerly point in Ireland and used as a location for filming Star Wars Ep VIII. Donegal's Lapland is a 15 minutes drive.

The Cove has truly superb views over the rugged north Inishowen landscape and Atlantic Ocean. The house has a very large garden. A cot and highchair are provided and a babysitting service is available. This holiday home makes the ideal venue for a large family gathering in this unspoiled part of Donegal. A rare jewel. Ballyboe is a traditional Donegal Cottage built well over 100 years ago yet modernized to give the guest the best of both worlds. Set in its own 9 acres of farmland the cottage combines total seclusion and privacy with surrounding farmland (guests get sole use of whole site) yet close to many attractions and nearby towns. The accommodation is designed mainly for up to 5 people - double bed in one room and 3 singles in another but can sleep 7 at a squeeze. No pets please.

An architecturally designed modern home on the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking a wild bird sanctuary with an elevated bird hide at the bottom of the garden; binoculars and bird books in the library. The house is a short drive to Malinhead with its Northern Lights and its Star Wars' location and yet only 2 kms out from Malin Village.
