Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

Whether you're celebrating or just looking for an excuse to come for seclusion and quiet, the fox den is the ideal place to book for your romantic getaway, located 2 hrs. south of St Louis near Wappapello Lake. Breakfast items provided for guests to cook, including farm fresh eggs

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

"The Treehouse" is a cozy cabin perfectly surrounded by trees and wildlife. It is called "The Treehouse" because there is a mature tree growing through the deck. There is a fireplace in the cabin to warm up the chilly nights. Soak in the private spa overlooking the forest for some peace and quiet. The cabin is located in the Eminence Cottages and Camp campground with access to the giftshop and WiFi. Rent a kayak or canoe from a local outfitter and hit the river for a day of fun!
