The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Less than .25 miles down the road you will find an access point to enjoy the peaceful Ouachita river or drive a short 30 minutes to Wolf Pen Gap to ride ATVs or find Irons Fork Lake 6 miles away to take in nature and fish.

The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite attached to our house, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. There are 2 entrances to The Cottage. Please use the Veterans Memorial Park Entrance. Covered parking and a outdoor covered patio makes a good sitting area. And only 4 miles from Mena!

Relax at this peaceful residence on the edge of town with a covered porch overlooking a large shaded backyard. An open floor plan, with a granite top bar connecting the kitchen and living room, is perfect for socializing. TV's in the living room & all 3 bedrooms means everyone can catch their favorite shows on Hulu or Disney+. A long driveway and 2-car garage fits several cars or truck and trailer. It's a perfect place to stay for adventure or to unwind.

Either way, you will find a peaceful stay here! From the town of Mena, AR it is about a 15 minute drive to the property.

Welcome to The School House. This Tiny House is located just blocks from the old Van Cove School. It has one queen bed up stairs and sofa sleeper with a queen bed down stairs. It is equipped with a full kitchen. This tiny house is located on a quiet street. Bring your UTV's - you can ride from the house to several trails within miles of the National Forrest.

The ATV Shack

The ATV Shack is on 4 acres bordering the Ouachita National Forest and just minutes from the south trailhead of Wolf Pen Gap. We also have a beautiful view of Eagle Mountain from our front porch! Whether you’re coming to ride the trails or sip coffee on the porch, you’ll find a peaceful getaway with comfortable amenities. We’d be honored to host you!
