We offer a 1.6 acre charming cabin close to Reeds Gap State Park and Bald Eagle State Forest. Bald Eagle has 193,000 acres of public land, hiking trails and fly fishing in Penns Creek. Swimming, beach and kayaking at Poe Valley State Park. Mountain biking and DCNR sport motorcycle trails. 40 minutes to State College, 15 minutes off of Rte 322, Milroy or Reedsville Exit. Relax and rock on the front porch or swing on the swing in the trees. You may enjoy dinner on the deck or in the woods.

The house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private bath. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a coffee/tea cart in the hall with a Keurig K-cup machine, cups, spoons, forks, knives and snacks. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave oven. There is NOT a kitchen. The refrigerator will have complimentary bottled water and half & half. Please let me know if you would like something else in the fridge, like milk or heavy cream for your coffee/tea.

We are only 35 minutes from Penn State, Lake Raystown is only 45 minutes, Mifflin Co. airport is 5 min, 3.5 miles from 322. Enjoy relaxing and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the deer and beautiful country scenery. Guests are welcome to give the deer treats. Private outdoor fire pit. Our cottage lies on the outskirts of the quaint little town of Woodward, nestled along the woods, in the midst of Amish country. We are located halfway between State College (Penn State) and Lewisburg (Bucknell), approximately 40 minutes commute either way. This area is great for hiking, biking, hunting, and excellent fly fishing.
