The Lodge at Old City Hall, Branner Room

Branner Room, Queen bed. The Lodge at Mossy Creek is a 1904 historic building in downtown Jefferson City Tennessee, adjacent to Carson Newman University, 3 miles from Cherokee Lake, 1/2 mi to historic Glenmore Mansion, Mossback Distillery and several local eateries. The building served as the Jefferson City City Hall from 1929- 1989. Our beautifully restored building houses the Heritage & Visitor Center at Mossy Creek, Revisions Gift Shop, Patriot Wood Fired Pizza, and 3 upscale lodging rooms.

Our Two-Story log suites are the perfect basecamp for couples and families alike. They offer two bedrooms with two spacious bathrooms, along with a small kitchen, equipped with induction cook top and refrigerator. This building was home to the original 1908 post office. It recently received its second full renovation with modern amenities while preserving its original corridors and doors making way for its new life as a boutique hotel space. Downtown Elizabethton is committed to ongoing revitalization projects including tourism enhancement, public art projects, and building renovations.
