It sits right beside Windsor Great Park, at the entrance of a long driveway to Little Dower House, where the owners of the Lodge live. Whilst the romantic gardens within the Little Dower House estate provide an ideal venue for larger weddings.

Stroll 15 mins more and you’ll find the recently renovated Monkey Island Estate. A short drive and you can be at either Ascot or Windsor Races, Cliveden House, Legoland, the village of Cookham or the beautiful river Thames towns of Marlow or Henley

The Stables in Historic Berkhamsted

Welcome to one of the most historic parts of Berkhamsted - the hilltop site of Old Berkhamsted Place, and the original Grade 2* listed barn which remains, reputedly, the largest medieval barn in the counties of Beds, Bucks & Herts. This cottage contains a large maisonette room with a super-king bed and a downstairs room with two double beds, ideal for up to 4 children who can share or two adults who prefer double beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower in it. There is a fully operating kitchen/dining room. Lots of walks nearby either to the pubs in Little Missenden, Penn woods and Penn Street or further into Old Amersham. Shared use of a large garden and tennis court.

Set on a working stable yard surrounded by private ancient woodland accessible to guests. Private fenced garden, however not secure on one side for a determined dog.

Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy, self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed , travel cot & hi chair if required. For pets, 2 maximum, we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.

River Thames near Windsor, Heathrow & London

Our home sits on the beautiful river Thames in Wraysbury near Windsor. The river runs past the end of the garden. There is a large west facing terrace, from the master bedroom. There is a large living room, kitchen and dinning room. 3 double bedrooms. There's parking for 2 cars in the garden. Windsor, Windsor castle and Lego land are about 20mins away my car. From Wraysbury station you can get into London Waterloo in 42mins. Heathrow is only 15mins drive away.
