Springtime is a good time if you want to listen to the bull frogs by the small pond, go hiking on the Appalachian trail at the top of the mountain and visit nearby Pine Grove where you will find a Pizza Shop, Turkey Hill Store and a Community Pool Blue Mountain Golf Course is within 5 miles. There is a Flying J Travel Plaza at 645 and 78 Restaurant/Subway Basement is unfinished , with a washer and dyer

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. There is a hiking and biking trail just down the road. If you are kayaking you can put in or get out of the creek right into the yard.
