This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double and one queen sized bedroom, sofa bed and a delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

16th century cosy stone cottage with large private garden, includes lounge, kitchen and separate dining room. Pretty sun room ideal for morning coffees. Two bedrooms, one twin, and one king size. Shower and toilet upstairs. Bed settee is in the dining room. Will easily sleep 6 but seating is limited in the lounge. The main bath and shower room is downstairs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.
