Rural Tourism House - "TER - Casa de Campo" Fully refurbished from a large traditional house, Casa de Almagreira allows you to discover and enjoy the peacefull surroundings of the island. The house is located in the traditional parish of Almagreira, just 2,5 km away from the beach, and not far from the main urban center of Vila do Porto (7 km). All has been taylored to provide a hi-stardard in confort. The house has 3 bedrooms (two couple beds and a double bedroom). Good terraces and all round garden allowing one to enjoy the outside spaces. Perfect for a hiking base or to discover the island by bicycle. The house has kayaks and snorkeling gear. Restaurants are mainly located in town, and there is a public bus running all day on the island. The house is thought as a very comfortable base to discover the island. Main activities in Santa Maria are diving related (whale sharks, and Manta Ray seeing), hiking and bird watching. Please note the showed price relates to the average High Low season for a 4 guest use - for a different number of guests, the shown price needs confirmation.

Casa das Clementinas is situated in the heart of the island in the town of Almagreira. This modern home was built in 2010. The house is only a 3 minute drive from Praia Formosa, a beach known for its soft sand. A friendly coffee shop can be found at the beginning of the street, and a local grocery store is a five minute walk, including fresh bread and pastries. The capital of the island, Vila do Porto is nearby with everything you’d need including restaurants, groceries, pharmacies and more.
