Come relax in our quiet country home, part log cabin, built in 1860. You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable getaway! Enjoy your own space with a separate entrance, kitchenette, and bathroom. Relax by the fireplace. Play a board game, read a book, or cast a show from your own streaming device. During the day take a walk around the 3-acre property, interact with the alpacas, goats & pigs through the fence, relax on the porch, & sit by your private firepit under a sky full of stars.

Your own 15 acre Conservation Area! Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock and private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

This beautiful cabin has a massive fully covered deck, looking right at the lakeside, huge picnic shelter with many picnic tables, 2 propane BBQs and a massive campfire pit! Solar lights, solar charging for all of your mobile devices and sunsets to take your breath away! This cabin includes 2 private outdoor toilets! . Note: all holiday weekends are minimum 3-night rental.

The cottage is located a short 15 minute drive from the 401 and the town of Cobourg, and is a 25 minute drive into Peterborough. We are 5 minutes from Rice Lake which is well known for its great fishing, and 20 minutes drive to the famous Cobourg beach. Come and relax at the cottage!

The Camper – Farm Stay in a Heritage Home

A perfect room for a group of friends or a family with kids. Overlooking the pool, barn and the rolling countryside. Two bunk beds (sleeps 4) with comfortable pillow-top mattresses in a historic farmhouse, with a large shared hallway bath. Linens and towels are provided. Unlimited free WiFi and plenty of parking. Optional vegan breakfast ($15pp) and yoga ($15pp) are available upon request.
