Hiking nearby at Colonel Denning State Park, Audubon Hawk Watch, Opossum Lake and Little Buffalo State Park. Outdoor fire pit next to the creek and propane fire pit on the back porch for rainy days. PLEASE NOTE - the cabin is in the woods, you will encounter bugs and animals.

Welcome, I am Debbie a busy Mama/Grandma with a bunch of millennial children (plus five grandchildren and 5 granddogs). I am excited to be able to offer my beautifully designed space close to Dickinson, the War College, Carlisle Fairgrounds, Appalachian Trail, Harrisburg and Gettysburg. You have your own off-street parking, private entrance and a large bedroom/sitting room with full private bathroom and a microwave/ mini-refrigerator for your convenience.

Amenities include outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace, and central air with a spacious deck with gas fire for enjoying the sounds of the creek and wildlife. Use the screened-in porch for meals, games or just relaxing. Appalachian trail is 10 min away. Little Buffalo & Colonel Denning State Parks are about 25 min away.

Cabin in the Pines

Off the road but easily accessible secluded cabin located in a 135 acre pine forest. A bird watchers haven. Take your coffee on the covered deck and enjoy the peace, quiet and the wildlife. Sit around the campfire, free firewood is provided, enjoy a walk in the woods! Family friendly. We allow pets but have a two pet limit and they must be crated when unattended.
