The Tipi

We are excited for our guests to experience this magical Tipi. It is glamping at its finest. We tried to include authentic type decor to honor life in a tipi while adding modern conveniences. Furnishings include a comfy queen size bed and two chairs to relax in along with animal rugs and soft blankets. The indoor and outdoor lighting adds to the romance of this unit. It's fairly close to the water, a short walk to go take a dip or go fishing there are also loungers, swings and patio furniture.

Western Wagon at River’s Edge

Tucked away in the oaks overlooking the river Western Wagon offers historic charm and modern comfort. Step into the spacious interior with a wagon-wheel table, shelves and hooks for storage, a king bed and a set of bunks all decked out with high end western linens. Outside enjoy the river or roast up some marshmallows on your private outdoor campfire and picnic area. The clean family-style bathrooms are just a few steps away. Howdy! Want to enjoy luck reunion and camp under the stars close by. I have a spot at Pace bend park reserved at Gracy point for wed Mar 12 and thur Mar 13. I will set up this 16 ft bell tent. It can sleep 4 comfortable. It’s 10 feet tall. There is shuttle parking close by the park. Only one car spot at campground. This is for the tent set up and camping spot. The tent will be empty. You will need to bring supplies.

Studio Tents

Walden Retreats is a luxury camping retreat located a few miles outside of Johnson City on 96 acres. Our studios are 440 sq ft luxury safari tents that feature a wrap around deck, private outdoor shower and fire pit. Each tent has air conditioning, king size bed, kitchen, and private bathroom. Maximum occupancy in studios is 2 guests. If you need additional space, the suites are a larger option.

Elevated Couples Tent Suite

Our elevated tent suite is perfect for couples looking for an opportunity to disconnect from the busy and enjoy the Texas landscape. Our tent features 400 square feet of living space built on a 1,000 square foot wrap-around private deck, a king-size bed, a mini-split A/C and heater, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and soaking tub, and a small living area with two leather chairs.
