Relax and unwind while you rock on the porch, drink coffee and breathe in the fresh air, take a hike at Davey Dogwood Park, ride the train at Texas State Railroad, or go fishing at Richland Chambers Lake which is just a short drive away. Nestled in between Athens and Palestine this 3 bedroom, 1 bath house is pet friendly and designed to get the kids playing.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing place where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and chill and grill, this is it! It’s a cute and comfy 2-bedroom, one bath cabin on Cedar Creek Lake. Easy access to the water for swimming. Kayaks and Paddle boards available. JetSki is available for longer term (3-6 month) rentals. The home is on half an acre with open water. Pet friendly as the property is totally fenced in. There is a $70 pet fee per trip.
