Very peaceful location close to the historical towns of Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway. The host lives here but guests have a sitting room with large HD TV, wood burning stove and separate breakfast/garden room for their own exclusive use. Your privacy is guaranteed. There are many beautiful walks straight from the door.

The Duck House is a quirky, characterful, cosy and extremely comfortable self-contained annex set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with easy access to Wallingford, Dorchester, Henley, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Bicester Village outlet centre is a short drive away. From the Duck House there is a short walk to the award winning 16th Century Thatched Pub, the Red Lion, in our village. There are many lovely walks around the village, surrounding countryside and path along the River Thames.

Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

Check-in window: 3 to 7pm You need to give us an estimated time of arrival as we do not stay home 4 hours every day waiting for guests to arrive. The room is not now serviced during your stay.
