Traditional English country cottage near to the dreaming spires of Oxford. Self-contained wing of a historic 300 year-old farmhouse, it offers charm space and comfort for visitors exploring the city and countryside. Enjoy riverside walks on famous Port Meadow, traditional pubs and easy access to Oxford’s colleges and culture. Set in a village famous for its connections with Alice in Wonderland and Inspector Morse. Three double bedrooms, spacious living room, farmhouse kitchen and private garden.

Period cottage, cosy sittingroom individual host

Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

The Garden Cottage, Bletchingdon

Relax in our refurbished, self contained garden cottage with its quiet garden. There is a kitchenette a portable induction hob and air fryer. A shower/toilet, A comfortable lounge with TV overlooking the garden through the patio doors. The garden has seating, ideal for sunrise. Parking for 2 cars. The cottage is perfect for local site seeing- Bicester Village, Oxford ,Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds Near Jeremy Clarkson pub and farm shop . We do one night stays from November to March .

Bright and airy, the annexe is brilliantly located in the historic part of the village, lovely local pubs and the award winning Norsk cafe are just a short walk away. Just a 10 minute walk from Haddenham mainline train station giving easy access London (40 mins) and Oxford (25 mins). Direct trains to Bicester Village take just 14 minutes.
