When you stay here you'll find over three private acres of ferns, forests, wild flowers and a native trout brook a stone's throw from the backdoor with your private hot tub to relax in. Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Built from a saved, moved, & reconstructed 1850s- era barn from a former local dairy farm, this upstairs studio space features views of the Berkshire Mountains and walking paths on the 5 acre grounds. 20 mins from Jiminy Peak. 20 mins from Tanglewood Music Center. The space has a queen bed, sofa, kitchen area with fridge, sink, oven, stove, microwave, Keurig and coffee, toaster, and cooking essentials. **EV Charging Station coming sometime summer of 2023. Staying here you’ll experience a cozy yet modern vibe, immersed in nature but with all the accoutrements of an upscale stay. Our incredible 4-bedroom home is situated on 2 beautiful secluded acres in picture perfect Monterey - the quintessential Berkshire County getaway, with modern kitchen, screened porch, 2 fireplaces a fabulous outdoor hot tub and a beautiful brook on the property. Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.
