This is a little slice of Heaven… Your cabin has high bluff waterfront amazing views, overlooking the Salish Sea… It literally overlooks Freshwater Bay, Vancouver Island, & San Juan Islands, & Victoria BC. (Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Tools and materials are kept out of sight, but you may notice some unfinished details. Due to continued progress, appearance may vary.

This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!
