Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

«Huset på Bakken» ligger på den smale stripen av land mellom sjøen og fjellene i Ullsfjorden. Her kan man nyte rolige dager med familien eller utfordre seg selv på korte eller lengre turer. Fra huset er det fin utsikt over fjorden og fjellene i alle retninger. Her er flere steder hvor det er grei adkomst til Lyngsalpan landskapsverneområde, med Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) på 1834 moh. som høyeste topp. Det er fine forhold for å se nordlys om vinteren fordi det ikke er gatelys som forstyrrer.

Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
