The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

This private annexe at Gowlands Farm House is located just off the A59, 8 miles from York and 14 miles from Harrogate, it makes an ideal base for visiting the nearby towns, cities and countryside that North Yorkshire has to offer. York Park and Ride is located 5 miles away. The North York Moors and Coast, together with the Dales, are accessible as an alternative day out. The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to enjoy.

The Pigsty- Haxby Road Farm

The Pigsty was part of Haxby Road Farm buildings which were renovated in 2022 / 2023 to create a rustic holiday cottage. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). There is a bus stop approx 400m from the cottage which goes directly to York. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.

Hope Cottage. Whixley.

Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. Generous discounts are on offer for long term let’s (28day or more .) Please note that charging points are not available to charge electric cars .

It sits in the Vale of York, between York and Harrogate with the Dales and Moors of North Yorkshire nearby. A super house for sociable evenings in; dinner by the log fire, a game of pool or drinks and table tennis on the patio during warmer months. Great local pubs and restaurants serving excellent food and a supermarket/shops a short drive away.

Station Cottage

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

Pear Tree Barn, York 5m, Village Location

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

No. 6 Alina's Cottage, North Yorkshire

Alina's cottage is one of the cottages which surround Syningthwaite Priory courtyard. The stunning backdrop of the medieval Priory along with the courtyard which is lit on an evening is not to be missed. Alina's cottage has a double and twin bedroom on the first floor and an open-plan living space on the first floor. The patio doors open onto a patio and an expanse of rolling fields.
