First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

A queen size aerobed mattress is provided for extra sleeping room. Has a 50" flat screen TV equipped with Netflix/DVD player. Kitchen has granite counters and is fully stocked to make any great meal. Dining table seats 4 and kitchen seats another 3. Backyard with fire-pit. Pets welcome. Yard is only partially fenced.

The large, illuminated bathroom offers a tub with pulsating jets as well as a separate shower, floating vanity and laundry closet. Downtown shops and dining are just a short walk away.

Built in 1910 with a backdrop of the barn built the same year, The Farmhouse is cozy and quiet. The house has been updated and has all of the modern comforts while maintaining a quaint country feel on the edge of the suburbs. Walk the nature trails at prairie center (1 min), visit KC Wine Co. After booking, guests are required to complete a renter’s agreement and provide a valid government-issued photo ID prior to check-in. This is required for all guests without exception.
