This charming villa, situated in the heart of Wainui, is full of character. With panoramic views overlooking Akaroa Harbour and the surrounding hills, this is a superb spot to relax and unwind. Come and enjoy the unique environment any time of year. This spacious family home has 4 (+1) bedrooms, a kitchen/living room with a large log burner, and another living/dining room with an open fire, both opening onto the veranda. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the end of a private laneway. Accessed by external steps, the house is split into two pods connected by an external deck. Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

This beautifully renovated villa overlooking Children's Bay and the Akaroa township was the original farmhouse for the land surrounding her. While retaining the character of the villa, the house has been lovingly restored to create thoughtful sunny spaces in a home away from home. 5 minute stroll down the hill and you are in the village of Akaroa where you will find an abundance of fine local restaurants, unique shops and activities. Protea Cottage. A place to connect with nature.

Original 1990 settler Cottage situated in a Native Bush Setting close to small creek. Tui and Bell Birds abound and a feeder is set up on the deck from where you can sit and watch them feed. Wake up to the dawn chorus. The Cottage is very private, set a short (5 minute) walk from owners house. Property is on a hill situated in 70 acres with Protea Plantings, Native Bush and lots of tracks to explore. Hosts happy to drive guests up to cottage if their vehicles are not suitable. Off Grid.

A quiet and private oasis overlooking native bush on our farm in Banks Peninsula. A unique, off the grid experience in our warm (centrally heated) and luxurious, brand new caravan. Gaze at the stars in your own little paradise whilst soaking in our private outdoor bath and/or enjoy exploring the spectacular bays around Banks Peninsula. Our 1/2 acre section is fully fenced so that your pet (if bringing) can roam freely. Even though we are off grid, we have great internet access (fast WIFI).
