Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven in my favorite area of the Allegheny National Forest (ANF). If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the forest, Hearts Content is your spot! Outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome! Whether it be hiking, orienteering, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or cross country skiing, you can do it all from this location! During the winter, you will need AWD or 4WD as the cabin is located on a private lane not maintained by the township.

The Allegheny A-Frame

A magical forest retreat where busy minds come to rest. The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Creekside Cabin has all the modern amenities you want in a secluded location that's convenient to everything Cook Forest and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @creeksidecabin788 The cabin does not have WiFi and cell phone reception is spotty in the area. Well-behaved furry friends can stay at the cabin for a fee of $25 per pet (max 2). During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.
